British naturalist, broadcaster, and writer David Attenborough has turned 100 years old. He is best known as the creator of numerous documentaries about wildlife, similar to Nikolai Drozdov for Russian audiences.
Attenborough's career began in 1952 when he joined the BBC on his second attempt, initially becoming a producer. His first major steps in documentary filmmaking were associated with the Zoo Quest series, which started in 1954.
