NASA Unveils Lunar Mission Training Simulator
Together with a model of the lunar module, the agency received models of astronauts.
NASA has put into operation a full-size mock-up of the Blue Moon Mark 2 lunar lander cabin from Blue Origin. The mock-up, serving as a simulator for lunar mission training, is installed at the Johnson Space Center in Houston.
The actual Blue Moon lander will be about 16 meters tall. The cabin, recreated by engineers for practicing lunar landings, is located at the bottom of the vehicle and is designed for two people.
The cabin serves as a living space, workspace, and observation point for astronauts. While on the Moon, they will eat, sleep, conduct scientific experiments, and monitor the environment here.

An interesting point: the module mock-up will gradually gain new functionality. Over time, it will be equipped with systems that allow training flights alongside specialists from future ground teams for lunar missions.
The simulator will be used to practice communication with the control center, crew operations inside and outside the cabin, preparation for simulated moonwalks, and procedures related to spacesuits. Testing will help Blue Origin receive feedback on the lander’s design even before its development is completed.
The Blue Moon module is set to fly to the Moon as part of the Artemis 4 mission, with the launch currently planned for 2028.
