In Rome, graffiti is becoming increasingly common alongside its ancient monuments. 28-year-old restorer Valerio Tuveri is determined to change that. Armed with a sandblasting machine, he cleans the city's historic walls while documenting the process on social media.
His latest project was at the Villa Sciarra, where fresh graffiti had appeared on recently restored walls. Wearing protective gear, he carefully removed the spray paint without damaging the stone underneath.
