Throughout August, English Heritage will offer one visitor each day the chance to enter the famous stone circle of this UNESCO World Heritage site before it officially opens. The exclusive access will be reserved for the winner and their group.
This unique opportunity comes at no extra cost. Anyone who books a ticket to Stonehenge through the English Heritage website at least 72 hours before their visit will automatically be entered into the daily draw.
Each winner will be left alone with the monument: they can spend 20 minutes inside the 5,000-year-old stone circle from 9:10 to 9:30, before the site opens to the public.

The lucky winner will be accompanied by a member of the Stonehenge team, who will answer questions about the history and preservation of the monument, but no other visitors will be present during the exclusive access.
Stonehenge has welcomed millions of guests since it became a paid attraction about 125 years ago, but according to English Heritage, the honor of being alone with the monument has traditionally been reserved for heads of state, celebrities, and participants of expensive private tours.
This private tour offers a rare chance to notice details that usually go unnoticed during standard visits, from the impressive size of the megaliths to ancient carvings not visible from public paths. Winners will also be able to take photos and videos without the usual crowds in the background.
If that's not enough to entice you to try your luck, each member of the winning group will receive a free breakfast roll and hot drink.
What to Do
Each year, around 1.3 million people visit Stonehenge, making it one of the most popular heritage attractions in England.
Visitors can now book premium tours called Stone Circle Experience, which take place in groups of up to 52 people, but the August draw will be the first event offering complete solitude inside the ancient monument at no extra charge.
Book your ticket to Stonehenge through the English Heritage website at least 72 hours before your visit in August, and you will automatically be entered into the daily draw.
