The company has reduced memory consumption in applications and system components by implementing a more efficient resource allocation mechanism and continuing to optimize the WinUI 3 platform.
Special attention has been given to Chromium and WebView2 components, which increase memory load. Microsoft aims to lessen their impact on system performance.
Davuluri did not provide specific metrics but noted that optimizations apply to systems with at least 8 gigabytes of RAM; Windows 11 itself requires a minimum of 4 gigabytes.
