Xbox Console Prices Rise by €150-200 in Europe
As of August 1, Microsoft has raised prices for Xbox Series consoles in the US, Europe, and other regions. In the US, prices increased by $100–150, while in Europe, the increase is €150–200. The Xbox Series S with a 512GB storage has seen the smallest increase, while other consoles have gone up by €200.

In the UK, Xbox Series prices rose by £130 for the Xbox Series S and £170 for other models. After the price hike, the Xbox Series S is now €50 cheaper than the Xbox Series X with a 1TB storage.
The PlayStation 5 currently retails for €650 in Europe, which is €100 cheaper than the Xbox Series X, while the PlayStation 5 Pro is priced at €900, €150 more than the Xbox Series X.
Sony and Microsoft attribute the price increase to rising component costs, particularly memory chip prices.
