God of War Season Two: Changes to Atreus and Thor
Creators of the God of War series plan to recast Atreus and Thor, according to Mp1st. The changes will occur in the second season, not during reshoots of the first.
In the first season, Atreus and Thor are played by Callum Wilson and Aylin Austin. In the second season, the characters are expected to age, as indicated in the casting descriptions.

- First season: actors aged 9-12 years.
- Second season: actors aged 14-17 years.
It is likely that the second season will relate to the events of God of War Ragnarok, where Atreus is older. There is no official information about the plot yet.
Shooting of the series is currently halted due to an injury to Ryan Hurst, who plays Kratos. He will be replaced, and scenes with Kratos will need to be reshot.
There is no premiere date for God of War yet. Due to the recasting and reshoots, the series may not premiere until late 2027.
