The main character will attend magic classes, join school clubs, and participate in cooking competitions. Players will have the freedom to manage their time between studying and other activities; skipping classes is also an option.

Additionally, players will have the chance to make friends with classmates and locals in Mossport. Some relationships may develop into romantic ones over time.

Besides the single-player mode, Witchbrook will offer cooperative gameplay for up to 4 players in a session. Players can explore the world together, run their own businesses, decorate their homes, and compete in broom racing.

Witchbrook will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2.
