GTA 6 Leaks Reveal Two Graphics Modes in Development
The release version of the game will feature only one mode.
Early builds of Grand Theft Auto 6 mention graphics modes Fidelity and Performance — likely at 30 fps and 60 fps. These modes were noted in various gameplay leaks of GTA 6.
One mode is mentioned in a 2023 leak, while the other appears in files published in 2026. Due to the low resolution of the videos, it was difficult to discern the mode names, but fans managed to do so.

The release version of Grand Theft Auto 6 will not have alternative graphics modes: developers decided to focus on the 30 fps mode and polish it to perfection.
Rob Nelson, the head of GTA 6 development, suggested that the game might eventually receive a 60 fps mode, but confirmed that it will not be available at launch. According to fan findings, testing for the high frame rate mode has been ongoing for quite some time.
However, Digital Foundry journalists doubt that current consoles will ever achieve 60 fps in GTA 6. Perhaps next-generation consoles will manage it.
The release of Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for November 19.
