Geely Reports Record Sales and Profit Growth in Q3 2026
In the last quarter, the company increased both revenue and net profit.
Chinese automaker Geely Automobile Holdings reported a rise in revenue and profit for the third quarter of 2026. Revenue increased by 10% compared to last year, reaching 98.964 billion yuan ($14.846 billion), while net profit grew by 28%, reaching 4.837 billion yuan ($725.62 million).
For the first 9 months of 2026, Geely earned 272.564 billion yuan ($40.888 billion), up 13% from the previous year. Net profit reached 13.928 billion yuan ($2.089 billion), an increase of 7%.

The profitability of the automotive business also improved. The gross margin for January-September 2026 reached 17.95%, up by 1.53 percentage points. Geely explains that the growth was driven by an increase in the average price of vehicles and a shift in sales structure towards more expensive models. As a result, the company's revenue grew faster than the number of vehicles sold.
Total sales for Geely in the first 9 months of 2026 reached a record 3.002 million vehicles. Exports saw a significant increase: overseas shipments rose by 169% to 797,000 vehicles, accounting for about 26.6% of total sales. In September, the company exported 106,000 vehicles, surpassing the 100,000 mark for the fourth consecutive month.
The expansion of the overseas business is accompanied by investments in European production. On July 23, Geely announced an agreement to acquire 34% of the Spanish Ford plant for 221 million euros ($246.16 million). This deal will allow the Chinese automaker to expand its manufacturing presence in Europe.
