Khamenei Threatens US with Unlimited Response to Any Aggression
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei warned that any threat must receive an immediate and geographically unlimited response. This statement comes amid diplomatic efforts to prevent a war with Iran that could have devastating consequences for the region.
According to IRNA, Khamenei met with Iran's military leadership and urged them to prepare for possible actions from the US and Israel. The threat of a "geographically unlimited response" means that Iran could target not only Europe but also the South Caucasus.

Khamenei also called for an updated list of potential targets in the US and Israel, including "all types of assets." He emphasized that Iran will determine the duration of any new conflict.
Reports indicate that IRGC commander Major General Ahmad Vahidi informed Khamenei of a sevenfold increase in weapon production in Iran. Analysts suggest that Khamenei's threats are aimed at deterring the US and Israel from attacking.
Despite the threats, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi signaled positive shifts in negotiations with the US through Qatar, including the possibility of reopening the Strait of Hormuz in two days if Iran's conditions are met.
Head of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Major General Mohsen Rezaei, also noted that he received a letter from the US Vice President proposing to start negotiations, which he viewed as a positive signal.
Rezaei warned that any attack would lead to "devastating strikes" against the aggressor using new weapons.
