New Rules for the Golden Globe: AI-Created Works Allowed with Conditions
Projects created using neural networks are allowed to participate, but with important conditions.
The organizing committee of the Golden Globe Awards has revised the regulations for the upcoming award season regarding the use of artificial intelligence technologies.
Unlike the strict limitations imposed by the Oscars, the updated Golden Globe regulations will permit works created with AI, provided that the technology was used solely as an auxiliary tool and human creative control was maintained.
Works in acting categories must primarily be the result of the actor's labor. Applications where the performance is significantly generated by AI will not be accepted.
