GTA 6 Days May Be Three Times Longer Than in GTA 5
In GTA 6, a full day-night cycle may take about 144 minutes of real time. This conclusion was drawn by Redditor tallicahet81, who analyzed a gameplay leak from Cyberleek.
He noticed that on the mini-map at 55 seconds, the game time showed 7:29, and after another 6 seconds, it changed to 7:30. This means that one in-game minute corresponds to approximately 6 seconds of real time.

If these calculations are correct, a day in Grand Theft Auto 6 will last 144 real minutes, which is three times longer than in GTA 5, where a day lasted only 48 minutes.

However, there are some important points. Firstly, it is unknown from which build the leaked gameplay was recorded, and a lot may have changed since then. Secondly, it is unclear whether time in GTA 6 always runs at the same speed or if it can be accelerated or slowed down during certain activities. The developers have not commented on this yet.
The release of Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for November 19.
