Edgar Barrera Leads Latin Grammy 2026 with Ten Nominations
The Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences has announced the nominees for the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards, with Edgar Barrera leading the pack with ten nominations.
The Mexican composer is recognized for his work with Karol G and Carín León, featuring in all three major categories: Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year. The ceremony will take place on November 12 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Following Barrera are Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, Jorge Drexler, Karol G, and Rosalía, each with seven nominations. Silvana Estrada and Mon Laferte have six nominations, while Argentine producers Rafa Arcaute and Federico Vindver have five.
Among the nominees for Album of the Year are Anitta's “EQUILIBRIVM,” Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso's “Free Spirits,” and Rosalía's “LUX.” In the Record of the Year category, standout nominations include Jorge Drexler's “¿Cómo se ama?” and Silvana Estrada's “Dime.”
The winners will be announced on November 12 during the gala, where Daddy Yankee will also be honored as Person of the Year.
